The nation’s top Catholic bishop issued a stern challenge to the Obama administration’s decision not to support a federal ban on [same-sex] marriage, and warned the president that his policies could “precipitate a national conflict between church and state of enormous proportions . . . ” He also argued that traditional marriage is best for society, and that treating [same-sex] marriage as a civil right would lead to discrimination against believers and against church agencies that could not, for example, accommodate gay couples as adoptive parents . . . In especially strong language, it also argues that the administration treats millions of Americans who oppose [same-sex] marriage “as if they were bigots.”

Archbishop Dolan is recently famous for attacking the most recent known victim (August 2011) of unwanted sexual advances from a priest in New York City.
A 16 year old girl came forward in New York saying that she was inappropriately massaged, and more inappropriately every day, by an older priest. If you’ve read the Philadelphia Grand Jury report, you know that priests call this “grooming”, which is slowly preparing children for sex. Why is a priest massaging a 16 year old girl – EVER? The priest, Catholic style, blames the girl for “wearing short skirts”. Again, then, why was he massaging her?
The Catholic League then trashes her publicly, and Archbishop Dolan publishes it on his blog at http://blog.archny.org/?p=1556
Catholic Public Relations genius – have two of the biggest Catholics in the country trash a poor 16 year old girl from the Bronx, so maybe other victims will be afraid to come forward. Maybe as she sees her whole world crashing around her, she’ll commit suicide like so many other victims have done.
What Would Jesus Do? Not What Dolan And Donaghue Do.
Dolan – stop protecting your child molesting priests, stop attacking the victims, and stop telling anyone what to do.
