I believe you missed the point on that one.
The video is from Right Wing Watch.org a joint project of People For the American Way that monitors dozens of broadcasts, emails, websites, and the activities of Religious and Radical Right political organizations. In this particular video a thick black prop resembling a Bible rests solo on the table beside the eighties has-been “Hollywood Celebrity.” He is contemporaneously known for his outspoken dogmatic religious rants, not what he has to say on history, politics or anything or significance.
My reference to the arrogance of ignorance that always, yes always, accompanies those of their ilk was a reference to those with religious convictions, not Hollywood celebrity.

One should choose whether or not to “indulge [another] by listening to anything they have to say on history, politics or anything or (sic) significance” based on their critical thoughts pertaining to such, not their occupation.
