But for what is worth, we can use this kind of idiocy: Since this is a beautiful case of “Post hoc, ergo propter hoc”, we can use it as an example of bad logic.
She is the gift that keeps giving. Every time she opens her mouth idiocy is guaranteed to follow. Using her, and her intellectual peers, Palin, and Bachmann, as examples of illogical thought are like shooting fish in a barrel. They are much too easy a target.
Yes, you’re absolutely right. But to teach logic to the other side (the one’s that maybe want to listen a bit), we have to be patient and start from the beginning. After all, they are starting from the beginning.
If the other side were rational that would be true; however, they are irrational with not the slightest interest to learn logic, because it would show their beliefs to be wholly irrational. I respond to the rational with reason, and to the irrational with ridicule.
