Always Question Authority 
Well, you probably have a point, all right. But I think the graphic might be misleading. One million meant exactly the same thing in 1912 as it does in 2012: 1000 x 1000. The definition of “poverty” has changed quite a bit.
Maybe it would have been better titled “Income Inequality Continues to Increase in America.” This will be a truism as long as America worships at the alter of capitalism.
Sadly it’s the same the world-over, one of my great passions is Formula 1 and when I see the Force India pit I always think of the poverty there.
What a great opportunity the whole of the sport has to help the poor.
The trouble is there’s no votes in it!
