The kind of faith that this older gentleman seems to have is the kind that I tolerate and even respect. It’s the fundamentalism that I’m against and want to remove. But belief in belief is admirable in my opinion.
Tafacory,
Welcome back from you hiatus.
Paradoxically, civility dictates that society tolerate all faiths; however, intellectual integrity demands one respect no faith.

Madison,
Good to be back, though I don’t know how long it will last. This summer I will for sure be adding more content.
In the meantime, I think we just have different definitions of words like “tolerate,” “respect” and “intellectual integrity.” Whereas I dislike fundamentalism of any kind, I feel that a person who considers all the evidence and still believes just out of personal choice, is a strong person. I respect and admire their choices. Regardless, funny clip.
All the best,
Tafacory
Three cheers for River! I definitely remember this scene from Firefly.
