This has no basis in reality. Texas, North Dakota, Tennessee, these are just a few States that come to mind that are Republican States and where the economy is above the national average. Education standards are much higher in republican States than libby loon States.

Are you kidding? Correlate the median household incomes with the 2008 electoral map. Texas ranks 25th in household income, North Dakota 27, Tennessee 44, then there are those red state bastions of prosperity and education, like Alabama (46), Arkansas (48), West Virginia (49), and Haley Barbour’s plantation economy at 50. They do have good football teams so their education dollars are not entirely wasted.
