I can see how in his very shallow mind that could be upsetting, but, he, and his ilk must understand the world does not revolve around the United States. Yes, 9/11 was a horrific “crime,” that should have been treated as such, and not as an act of war, but I digress.
The part of the article that I found typical and telling was the hypocrisy that is ever so prevalent in the conservative world where he his argument for atheists taking offense at another nativity scene on public property was for the atheists to look away and ignore it. However, when he was offended by the architecture of a building in a country on the other side of the planet looking away and ignoring it seemed not to be an option.
