An explicit portrayal of the Tea Party

  1. Madison,

You represent everything that is wrong in America. Sometimes I feel I can save people through facts and common sense. However, you are a lost cause. Fortunately, anyone who hears (reads) you speak will not take you seriously. If you ever feel up for an education, look me up.

  2. HI ‘Madison’,
I think you may have sent your e-mail to the wrong address mate, re. the cartoon of Jesus taking a walk with his little ‘doggy’ bag. I still think it would make a great ‘T’ shirt and if you still disagree, check-out a British website called ‘Red Or Dead’, I have a ‘Darwin’ one.
Do you remember the track ‘The KKK Took My Baby Away’, by the legendary Ramones?
Now that’s what I call music!

  3. That cartoon makes no sense. The KKK was the militant arm of the Democrat Party. The Tea Party are largely Republican, the Party of Lincoln and the Party of Martin Luther King, Jr.

    • Dearest G,

It comes as no surprise that the cartoon would make no sense to those of the limited and literal mindset. I will ignore your historically misconstrued non sequitur response.

However, I will attempt to interpret the meaning of this cartoon fur ya, otay. The KKK is a far-right extreme, reactionary organization that supports white supremacy, white nationalism, and anti-immigration. The Tea Party is an explicitly far-right extreme, reactionary, anti-immigration organization that implicitly supports white supremacy, white nationalism. The cartoon is simply pointing out the similarities. Comprende? You bet’cha!

Oh, one last thing, apparently you failed to read my about page. Had you done so, in bold red font you would have read the following: This blog is for the well-informed, and well-read with an independence of mind that place a high value on reason, critical thought, and general intellectualism. Your lowbrow uninformed comment fails to meet these criteria.

G, I make no claim to be objective, and have no desire to read your point of view, for, although I have since escaped, I grew up in rednecklandia, i.e., the Deep South, and frankly have heard all of the limited, literal, lowbrow, closed minded, fascist, obnoxious, xenophobic, misogynistic, overconfident, anti-intellectual, bigoted, reactionary, self-righteous, jingoistic, militaristic, flag draping, Bible thumping bullshit that you and those of your ilk have to offer, and have absolutely no need to read anymore of it.

I leave you, for good (hint, hint), with Lincoln and King rolling in their graves.

      In Reason,
      Madison
