Astute observation that makes sense to we naturalists. Of course, the theists will have none of it saying that only God has the authority to end a life process. Further, they might say, just because God can do this — for his own mysterious reasons–does not give humans the authority to do so. Hey, these theologians have been at work on this shit for a long time, coming up with contorted formulations that, like smoke and mirrors, can seem to make sense but rarely hold up to critical examination.
