While I respect the intent and the production elements of tis video and the effort that went into making it, I do think the message is somewhat contrived. The final embrace between the ‘old white dude’ in a suit and the ‘unshaven black dude’ comes across as a simplistic resolution of a multi-layered and complex issue. That said, if it alerts the relatively ignorant masses to notions of inequity, privilege and obscenely unequal wealth distribution, then I guess it has achieved a small part of the mission of ‘Occupy’.

cinova,
I see your point, but as you stated it did serve well, what I also believe was its purpose, to “alert the relatively ignorant masses to notions of inequity, privilege and obscenely unequal wealth distribution.” Additionally, I believe that is what the OWS movement is all about, while the Tea Party movement was a realization of the slow weakening of Christian, White, Privilege that has so dominated this country since its inception.
