I was interested in fing out more about the logo in the background. Can you tell me anything further about that? Ive seen this in many videos with Noam Chomsky.
Aside from some great terms, Lippman’s “responsible men” (Plato’s Philosopher-Kings?), “bewildered herd”, and Chomsky’s “emotionally potent oversimplications”, I can’t tell, from this short clip at least, what his overall thesis is. I get all the components–how words and word symbols are used to control and manipulate–but is he simply being descriptive or I wonder if he was also presenting an argument?
