I wonder how many believers deep down really believe the eternal life proposition? Most I know fight like hell to hang on to life when, in theory at least, they should be banging on the pearly gates to get in. Likewise, notice how among the suicide bombers, its seldom or never the religious leaders blowing themselves up in the name of their god.
