The inaugural committee says that Giglio’s comments on gay people “don’t reflect our desire to celebrate the strength and diversity of our country at this Inaugural” and is seeking someone else to deliver the benediction. Who should it choose?

  1. They’re welcome if they can use a language appropriate to a plural society. Unfortunately, their reason for entering the public square is to force their moral values on all of society. Their language is one of black and white, of censure and condemnation.
