Condel nails it… once again. This old canard about poor, persecuted Christianity has always been central to the Christian narrative: ‘We must hold fast against the attacks of the pagans, the godless authorities, the hedonists, yada, yada, yada.’ Condel says that soon the Holocaust will soon be branded as a ‘theory’. Of course, in Iran and elsewhere, it has already been described as such and even to be part and parcel of part of that other always-reliable canard: an international Jewish conspiracy.
