Wow! Loved both parts of this interview. I agree that the current narrative that changing demographics will favor liberals is way too presumptive. Significant portions of minorities are not immune to thinking themselves ‘white’ in terms of values and thus become receptive to dog-whistle politics of race. Failure to engage dog-whistle politics means it will just keep morphing into new forms.
