Racists rejoice! With Donald Trump paving the way, bigots can now campaign to “Make American White Again” openly by appealing to a fictional American golden age where the damn minorities knew their place. Today’s example is Rick Tyler, candidate for Tennessee’s 3rd congressional district.

MORAL PHILOSOPHY: “Pope Francis Just Dropped the Mic on the Death Penalty” / John Iadarola ☮

Pope Francis just laid down the law on the death penalty, saying that it fosters vengeance in the hearts of crime victims, not justice. This is just the latest in a long line of liberal positions the Pope has laid out. (He ain’t perfect though)

PERFORMING ARTS – BROADWAY: “Broadway Stars Come Together for Orlando’s LGBT Community” / CBS Evening News ☮

Broadway’s biggest stars came together last week to record a new version of “What the World Needs Now is Love” with profits benefiting Orlando’s LGBT community. Producer James Wesley and his husband, musician Seth Rudetsky, put the project together in just two days. Dr Jon LaPook reports.
