Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has decided to follow in the hateful footsteps of his fellow Republican governors and has started drug testing welfare recipients. So far, there have been no positive test results, but that won’t stop Snyder and the Republicans’ war on the poor from moving forward.

Pope Francis just laid down the law on the death penalty, saying that it fosters vengeance in the hearts of crime victims, not justice. This is just the latest in a long line of liberal positions the Pope has laid out. (He ain’t perfect though)

PERFORMING ARTS – BROADWAY: “Broadway Stars Come Together for Orlando’s LGBT Community” / CBS Evening News ☮

Broadway’s biggest stars came together last week to record a new version of “What the World Needs Now is Love” with profits benefiting Orlando’s LGBT community. Producer James Wesley and his husband, musician Seth Rudetsky, put the project together in just two days. Dr Jon LaPook reports.
